Privacy and data use disclaimer

The Paramedicine online reporting tool is a website that allows students and supervisors (preceptors) to complete clinical reports online and export pdfs of those reports as needed. We request certain personal information required for the clinical reports.

When registering, you will be asked for your first and last name. These details are automatically added to the reports. Students are also asked to add their student ID, which is required for the reports.

Your email is required to create an account and is used for communication via the web tool and our help desk team. Email addresses are not shared with other users.

Any personal information entered into Paramedicine online is used solely to process reports, this information is not used in any other way.

Student information is shared only with the supervisors involved in each specific placement, limited to Ambulance Victoria that the placement is with. We do not share any data collected with third parties outside of the statement above.

Supervisor personal information is shared only with students who they supervise.

Monash teaching staff only have access to reports in order to process assessments, this is limited to the units that they manage. Monash staff that manage Paramedicine online have access to all reports for the sole purpose of helping students and supervisors use the system.
